with recordings disappointing 结构为什么不好。我觉得从句子意思来看，职业生涯戛然而止，专辑令人失望，这些都与主语OF从来没被遗忘发生转折，所以career was cut short和recordings disappoint 应该是并列关系，同时与主句让步。如果用with，破坏了career和recordings之间的并列，也破坏了recordings与主句的让步。 2. while做时间状语从句省略主谓，是在从句主语与主句主语（her career）相同的情况下才可以用。这里in her prime的主语显然是OF
