这题其实用的是排除法，考的是细心： A一个词(young people) and一句话（their families ...)+谓语动词，这明显就错 B 不看with 的修饰，whose 可以修饰young people，所以先放着 C这个和A一样的问题：一个词（young people) and 一句话（a history runs...)+谓语动词，这也错啊 D whose families ...running in them ,本来就有whose指代他们的，现在又来in them ,什么意思，显然多余，错 E young people with...with... ，注意这里两个with 之间都没有and ，这又是在作甚？？？所以果断抛弃。 所以最后只能选B 了，这题考的不是语法点，而是细不细心！！！

本题不是并列结构。。哎。。晕。。题意是：研究表明那些家里有高血压历史并且有高于平均水平血压的孩子比别人更容易发展成更严重的情况。。。

whose families...和with higher-t-a...都是修饰young people 的。这里的 with...相当于插入语修饰people，可以先略去不看。 whose 并没有要求就近修饰

the problem here is that you've got 2 essential modifiers (modifiers not preceded by commas, whose semantic meanings are essential to the understanding of the sentence). essential modifiers are supposed to be tacked onto the noun, but, since there are two of them, one of them has to lose the contest. -- do note that the absolute rule you learned in class is for COMMA PLUS which, who, whose, to whom, of which, etc. we only posited that rule for situations in which the preceding comma is present. this isn't one of those situations.

Whose跳过with+n介词短语结构修饰young people，介词短语不是句子主干，找主干的时候可以拿掉不看
