错选了C。判断错误是因为看到in which前面有cigarette和后面的cigarette有重复，所以认为in which有错。纠正：要看懂从句每个部分修饰的内容是什么！！！！！原句中，...is a cigarette in which thin layers of extra paper...引导的定语从句中还原后为thin layers of extra paper are used (in a cigarette) to...要看懂句子的语法结构！！！

B 选项they指代不明，前文有出现company但都是单数，没有负数。 C选项when it enters the cigarette, IT指代不明 D选项and链接两个句子，句子结构有问题，这里slowing是从句，附属与这个句子，和主句没有并列关系。 E选项which指代不明 C选项，it其实可以指代the amount of oxygen，C的错误在于，when这个状语从句没有A选项的the amount of oxygen entering the cigarette简洁

看到in which 不要慌~ a cigarette in which thin layers => thin layers in a cigarette.. are used to decrease... which前面的词语是后面句子的宾语、补语等等。

slowing 在这里是做状语从句，表示一种结果，不是和前面某个V平行哦
