than前后存在一个比较，就是现在付的钱和以前付的钱哪个多。前面用are paying，后面应该用be动词而不是did，干掉BCE。D后面那个what they were中的what明显与前面那个比较不对应，前面直接说refiners了，没必要加what了，直接说they与refiners对应就可以，选A
