查了词典 at least as great as 相当于或大于 例句：The scientists say the current level of diversity within cattle breeds is at least as great as within humans.（科学家声称，目前牛类的多样性至少和人类的多样性一样丰富。）

或者 .... as much water as or more water than was previously thought .吗？

这里说一下D选项，大家不要仅仅通过选项的“长相”来下定义，事实上，D选项中的 as much water, or more, than，并非是绝对错误的结构，而问题在于as much water as, or more than中这个选项缺少了as，折旧使得“，than”在前面找不到匹配的结构，并且，OG18 291题中明确有过这样的题目Last year, land values in most parts of the pinelands rose almost as fast as, and in some parts even faster than, those outside the pinelands.
那么题中，结构简化就是：as fast as,and even faster than, those

"was" is ok.
it's not necessary, though, because "previously" is there. so, the sentence is more efficient without it.

因为比较的不是时态，而是水的数量。
如果是比较的时态，那时态不一致确实不能省略。

“Was” is ok. It's not necessary, though, because "previously" is there. So, the sentence is more efficient without it.

同问，用was为什么不对？？the planet\'s crust harbors up to 3 times as much water as was previously thought. 这里的was有必须要省略吗？比如：don\'t use more water than （what)) is necessary. 这里是省略了what, 但也没有省略is。

我还原了一下比较，补上了比较前的is（客观事实），也不上了比较后的was；
依然有些疑惑，因为is和was时态不一样但是可以省略，按照ron解释因为有previously所以可以省略；——我也只能这样理解了；

曼哈顿语法中有提及，使用however，therefore，in addition作为转折连词使用时，前面要加冒号，而不是逗号~~所以ABDE直接out

在manhattan sc里关于colon的部分没看到您所说的用法。另外确定therefore能作连词？我查了韦氏词典，therefore只能作副词。。。

曼哈顿语法讲到FANBOYS的那一章，后面紧接着就说了therefore这几个。应该是有个分号的用法~~·

这里的therefore 并没有连接两个句子啊，后面半句不是一个完整的句子。错误点不在这里。

嗯嗯，看到了～不过我觉得那里的意思应该是，因为therefore那几个不是连词，在这种没有连词又含有过渡意思的情况下，要用分号连接两个独立句。而不是要求therefore那几个词前一定需要加分号。。。

我上课老师的确说过如果用however的格式应该是用分号（纠正一下，是分号；不是冒号：）：
；however，
但是，DE我觉得是插入语，“and concluded, therefore, that” 这里用分号是错误的，分号是下一个句子的开端，所以DE不能算是错误的

C当中，up to three times as much water or more as was的was previously thought如果补全会是什么呢？我感觉这个地方的was我不是很清楚，thought是一个被动语态表示crust was thought还是应该理解成Scientist thought我觉得有疑问
