Business Consultant: Some corporations shun the use of executive titles because they fear that the use of titles indicating position in the corporation tends to inhibit communication up and down the corporate hierarchy. Since an executive who uses a title is treated with more respect by outsiders, however, use of a title can facilitate an executive's dealings with external businesses. Clearly, corporations should adopt the compromise of encouraging their executives to use their corporate titles externally but not internally, since even if it is widely known that the corporation's executives use titles outside their organization, this knowledge does not by itself inhibit communication within the corporation.

我也误选的B。。

我认为B的后半段to call into question the effectiveness of that strategy as a means of achieving that goal. 是说对某种策略作为实现某种目标是否有效进行质疑；策略对应：shun the use of executive titles，那么效果就对应：不抑制上下级的沟通；显然use of a title can facilitate an executive\'s dealings with external businesses 并不是对能否实现顺畅沟通的效果的质疑；而是认为上述strategy有副作用即有缺点。因此B是错误的

我开始选B, 看到其他网上的评论也是B的意见较多。主要是A里面的drawback比较难理解。
第一个是不用title. 那就当作用title的取非，记作 -title. 那么第二个黑体就是就是用title好。
这里就是一个逻辑 title=好 能否推出 -title=不好（即drawback）？ 喝牛奶 对身体好 能否推出 不喝牛奶对身体不好呢？

我想了想，答案这样解释应该会清楚一写：
假设：策略1：aviod title 策略2：use title
策略2的优势X策略1 没有，那么在X方面，策略1有相对了劣势，算是drawback

第二个黑体在内容上在强调use title的优势，作用上是暗示avoid title...的劣势
我只能这么解释了，要不然我也不知道答案为啥选A，ABC明明差的差不多啊

E中the consultant seeks to provide a justification并不正确，事实上，consultant是不赞同这个做法的。consultant的建议是要分开情况来看，对内和对外，而不是一刀切。

两段黑体字说的是use title在对内部和对外部的不同效果，两者并不相悖，不能说成同一个problem，所以C的表述不对。后面的结论说的是将两者结合形成折中的策略。

第二个是黑体是说公司使用title-strategy的对外的优势，即是公司不采用title的对内部造成的损害。也就是说这个strategy的drawback

AC后半部分都有什么区别呢？我觉得A 后半部分说黑体是这个策略的缺点好像也不准确。C后半部分是说黑体质疑前面黑体采取措施避免引起某一问题的意义。严格觉得，两个都不好，但是C更好，不知道我哪里感觉不对，求教。

A和B的纠结：B：Lavender_Zhang考友的对B的解释很到位，B上下沟通顺畅，所以B后半部分说”use of a title can facilitate an executive's dealings with external businesses“影响上下沟通顺畅这个目的达成，不正确；A：后半部”present a drawback to that strategy“. 使用title会促进外部生意，所以当使用“that strategy”时会影响外部生意，表达了缺点。

说一说我对B错的想法吧
首先B中说第二个黑体是对“避免使用title”（第一个黑体）所说的策略的质疑
！！注意这里质疑的是这个策略实现 “that goal” 的有效性！！
“that goal” = 避免“inhibit communication up and down the corporate hierarchy”（避免阻碍公司高层的上下沟通）
而第二个黑体所说的是“facilitate an executive's dealings with EXTERNAL businesses”（促进高管与外部企业的交易）也就是与外部企业的交流 并不涉及 “that goal” 中公司内部的上下沟通问题
