看懂这句话的结构，奇奇怪怪的很可能就是倒装结构。像这里就是。。。 原来的语序应该是：a reasonably clear picture of the patterns and causes of ocean currents has emerded. 由于picture后面的修饰语太长，正常语序可能会导致谓语出现太慢。所以需要把of the patterns。。。的修饰部分后置，把谓语提前。
