although 与 even if 的意思不一样。even if 指的是一种可能性，就是说他们可能买的起也可能买不起，但是对于买的起而言的也blabla. 而although是一种既定的事实，说明他们都是买得起的。所以原句是用even if,不能改掉。 如果这样考虑，be able to 和 can 也是，can指的是一种可能性，可能买得起也可能买不起，而be able to指的是有能力买，就是说都买得起，要看原句的意思。
